During the 2008/09 cruising season, a total of 56 cruise ships are currently scheduled to visit the Port of Tauranga.
Volcanic Air Safaris are listed as a cruise ship friendly operator and have developed a number of flight packages to allow you easy access to view some of the most dramatic landscape this region has on offer during your visit to these beautiful shores.
Flights have been priced either direct from Tauranga or from our Rotorua base. Rotorua is a short one hour drive by direct coach or 45 minutes by car.
If you are traveling in a group, larger numbers can be accommodated and can alter prices in your favour, please email us with your request and we will provide an individual quote.

Cruise Transfer Options
- Bus - Twin city depart (5 min walk from cruise terminal)
Mt Maunganui Info Centre @ 8.00 am (arrive Rotorua City Centre 9.15am) return Mt Maunganui Info Centre @ 5.20pm - $25.00 per adult
- Taxi - Depart Mt Maunganui Info Centre to Rotorua City Lakefront (based on 1 - 11 pax)
$195.00 (one way)
- Limousine - $600.00 for the day up to 7 people
- Van - $500.00 for the day up to 7 people
Please note: passengers who elect Taxi-Van-Limousine for their transfers can be met directly at the Wharf.
The Coach transfers depart at the Mt Maunganui I-site which is a 5 minute walk from the ship.
