Commercial Services
In addition to our tourism activities, Volcanic Air offers a wide range of commercial services to the utility and emergency services sector. We have over 30 years experience in all types of commercial helicopter operations.
Operations are conducted to the highest standard, and in compliance with New Zealand Civil Aviation Rules, current best practice and industry required specifications including Transpower and Rural Fire Service.
Operations are audited both externally and internally, and all equipment used is certified and fit for purpose. Volcanic Air have robust Quality Assurance and Safety Management Systems and constantly reassess operational practices within a system of continual improvement.
When required, commercial operations are supported with 4WD vehicles and 1400 litre fuel tankers. Cargo pods are also available for all commercial operations if needed.
